Week 4 : Berlin

A cold week, the birthday of my mother once again from far way, the surprise and tenderness of my mother who discovers the "deliveries for your birthday" from Amazon and reminds brutally of the late 90s E-card - a must of every 11 years old in 1997. Or of Corel Draw and it's all a whole nostalgia again. From the dinner point of view, nothing exciting, rather .

Berlin, Eberswalderstr. January 2015

Monday, 19 January 2015:  Nice creamy soup with parsil roots, leek and potatos.
Tuesday, 20 January 2015: Pasta (fusilli?) by the boyfriend with sour cream, champignons and speck.
Wednesday, 21 January 2015: a salad with only gren leaves.
Thursday, 22 January 2015: on this day I went for the first time since I leave in Berlin  to the Reichstag as part of an office team event. I was schocked by the size of the frightening German eagle and by the fact that most member of the Parliament do not have even proper seats with a reclinable table nor a microphone nor electronic vote system.
The inside of the chamber looks also surprisingly like a cheap building of the 90s with the pale beige round column and the moquette, the majesty of the Dome by Norman Foster doesn't improve the very German impression it made on me. The dinner, according to my notes, was a homey regular Spaghetti with fresh tomato sauce.
Friday, 23 January 2015: Pizza + leftovers (I have no memory of this Friday, I might have left the office at 8 pm)
Saturday, 24 January 2015: I had dinner with the family of a friend in a place I would not recommend to anybody Tucholsky. I had a regular kasseler but absolutely not worth it, justa pity that I didn't know and they were visiting.
Sunday, 25 January 2015: sweet bitter onions with pig filet cooked with milk, thymian and onions.

Week 3 : Berlin

The toughest week so far...busy, gray and demotivating all around. Even the cat decided to attack me on Saturday afternoon, he must have felt the stress no doubt. A pizza and delicious dinner invitations transformed the week.
Ask the boyfriend to save the day and the dinner with a pizza, he'll come home with one single pizza for two people.

Thursday, 15 of January 2015: tagliatelle with black truffle home alone dinner (great)

2015: here we go, again.

I started my first Dinner Project in 2011, following the dear Norwegian blogger Astrid. I did so because I knew it was going to be a rather complicated year in which I was going to move several times through several countries, I would travel a lot and be very stressed and I felt that commit to a regular report/routine would help me and that food would be the way of remaining present and awake.
Alps from above, going South thanks God.

Some would say aware. Too much of an avanguarde.
I managed to stick to my rule of reporting my food habits through the whole year and it turned very much into an intimate diary with notes and souvenirs about each week. I loved it, it was a tough year with a fil rouge of love and food.

And then I stopped blogging, moved to another country and got very confused.
Things haven't get any clearer now and I hate new year's resolutions because I feel under pressure and I am afraid of disappointments but I thought that starting again from food would be the most natural thing of all.
If there's something I discovered since 2011 is that I miss people. Friends, family, interstellar voices, transmedial entities. So I do not start alone this time, this will be a scrapbook journal of two friends living far away and sending each other love recipes.
Taking care of myself and the dearest around me and beside acting to my written words again, but together with a dear friend.
